We’re a family of four in Connecticut who missed having a dog, so we started searching just after the new year, maybe even later than that. We found Trinity, our pit bull, online through a pair of sites. The first was Paws New England, who had a cross-posting of Trinity’s story from Hearts of Gold Pit Rescue in Tennessee. You can find links to both places on the right hand side of the page. In a week’s time we were accepted for adoption and after reading Trinity’s story (it’s listed under the title Trinity and Oliver) we decided we needed to have her join our family. She came to Connecticut on March 1, and has been amazing. Truly an ambassador for the breed!
