The ladies have been gone for the week, because of school vacation, and a trip out of town to visit Nana and Papa.  Poor Trinity has been down in the dumps wondering what is going on, and wondering why only dad has been home for the last 5 days.  Don’t worry Trin, the ladies are due back today, and soon you’ll be wondering what happened to your quiet days and nights!

So with the nice weather in the last couple of weeks the ladies are finally able to spend more time outside, enjoying the sunny days and doing all the things that little girls do.  They ride bikes, swim in their little pool, play on their swingset, and of course, draw on the driveway and patio with sidewalk chalk.  Sidewalk chalk is a big favorite, especially when friends come over.  Most of the times it involves coloring in the bricks on the patio, which leaves for a lot of chalk in one little area.  Our girl, of course, knows right where to lie down, and in the last couple of days has managed to lie right on top of the chalk.  Last week she turned herself pink and blue, and we were able to snap a few shots.  The first day we were able to hose her off and most of it came off.  On the second day she decided to run away from the hose so she stayed pink and blue.  She doesn’t mess around when she lies in the chalk either, she puts her whole face and mout right in there, making it pretty much impossible to get it all off.  Pretty sure she is the only pit bull in the neighborhood with those markings!  Too funny.

We had some supervised floor play time with Lucy recently and Trinity brought her bone along to observe what was going on.  To say she is nosey would be the wrong word, she just likes to be a part of things and feel like part of the family.  I have to say that she truly loves being in the family, and I’m not sure what things were like before she came around.  Anyway, I snapped this picture during their play time.  What you can’t see is Mom and Dad sitting on each side of Lucy, and the other two ladies are also involved.  I’m not sure how we all missed being in the picture, because I took about 20 others and we all make an appearance in them.  Yes, even dad, who rarely makes an appearance in the blog.  I started thinking of what would be a good caption for the pic, but I wasn’t able to come up with anything.  Can you?  Post a good caption in the comment section, and we will pick the best one.  The winner can do our next post, complete with a picture of your own favorite dog.  Good luck.

We post a lot about Sophie and Trinity.  Not to leave the other lady out, Bella and Trinity are great friends too.  Bella is big on giving her treats, and we went and bought a bunch for her birthday on Sunday.  Bella likes to drop the treat and see if Trinity can catch it in the air.  Sometimes yes, sometimes no, but always fun to watch.

This picture of Bella and Trinity looks almost fake.  It’s taken from far away and I cropped a lot out and then adjusted the color because it was kind of dark out.  As you can see we get our fair share of leaves and the mornings have turned very cold, something our girl is no fan of these days.  Either way, Bella and Trinity take very good pics.  As do Sophie and Trinity.  Try to throw them all on the same picture and they usually turns out like the ones below.  Ha.
